Vehicle Overview
The 2024 INFINITI QX80 available at INFINITI of Montgomery is a luxury SUV and the largest vehicle in the INFINITI lineup. The ground clearance is 9.2 inches. The wheelbase is 121.1 inches, and the overall length is 210.2 inches or approximately 17.5 feet. A seven-passenger configuration is standard. An eight-passenger configuration is optional with all trims. Headroom is 39.9, 40.0 and 36.8 inches and legroom is 39.6, 41.0 and 28.8 inches in the first, second and third row, respectively. All models have a seven-speed automatic transmission mated to a 5.6-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque. Trailering equipment is available with all trim levels, and with that upgrade, the QX80 can tow 8,500 pounds, which is best in class.
QX80 LUXE
The LUXE is the first of three core trim configurations available for the 2024 INFINITI QX80 at INFINITI of Montgomery. All models have proximity keyless entry, push-button start, remote ignition and a self-leveling rear suspension that helps to distribute weight more evenly and thus improve ride comfort. Exterior features include 20-inch aluminum wheels, LED headlamps and a power liftgate. The cabin features genuine leather upholstery, heated and power-adjustable front seats, second-row captain’s chairs, power-folding third-row seats, a heated steering wheel, a three-zone automatic climate control system, a wireless smartphone charger and a 13-speaker Bose sound system. Infotainment and driver assist features include a 12.3-inch touch screen with integrated navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay, wired Android Auto, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system, a digital rearview mirror, blind-spot warning, lane keeping assistance and forward collision mitigation.
QX80 PREMIUM SELECT
The main difference between the PREMIUM SELECT and the LUXE is its exterior aesthetic. It replaces all of the chrome trim with darker chrome and adds additional darkened accents. It also upgrades the wheels to 22 inches, and the leather seating is available in two additional themes.
QX80 SENSORY
The SENSORY is the most luxurious and advanced of the 2024 INFINITI QX80 trim levels. This is the only trim to feature the Hydraulic Body Motion Control system, which improves ride comfort when cornering. This trim also has headlamps that turn with the steering wheel for better illumination through curves. It also adds premium leather upholstery, front seats that are heated and cooled, heated second-row seating whether you opt for the bucket seats or bench, advanced cabin air filtration, a household-style power outlet, a 17-speaker Bose audio system and a rear-seat entertainment system with dual 8-inch screens.
Other Trim Levels
The QX80 is also available in a four-wheel-drive configuration as opposed to the standard rear-wheel drive. INFINITI offers this option in discrete 2024 INFINITI QX80 trim levels: QX80 LUXE 4WD, QX80 PREMIUM SELECT 4WD and QX80 SENSORY 4WD. But the only difference between those trim levels and what is discussed earlier is the presence of the 4WD system. Note that the QX80 is often erroneously described online as an all-wheel-drive or AWD SUV, but the QX80 has a true four-wheel drive system with AUTO, 4HI and 4LO modes.
